I'll mix your song. On my live stream. For free.
Tuesdays, Thursdays, Sundays. Every mix happens on the stream, start to finish. You send the multitracks, I do the whole thing on air, you get the finished song back, mixed and mastered.

What this is
I've got over fifteen thousand hours in the mix seat, on my own records and a lot of other people's. The last batch I put out (of my own music) did 80,000 streams in three months and reached 28,000 listeners. Mixing and mastering is my favorite part of the music creation process. However, what I've never done is let anyone watch.

So I'm putting it on a stream. How it works: you send a song, I mix it on the stream, and you watch me do a fully custom mix. Not a preset chain. Tailored to your song specifically. Every song gets its own mix from the ground up, which is why one song takes me somewhere between eight and twelve hours. That's two or three streams. You'll see all of it.
It costs you nothing. I want the reps, and I want the songs out in the world with my name on the mix. Normally a mix from me runs $1,000 to $1,500. Right now I care more about getting the work on camera and getting the songs heard.
What you get
- A finished, mastered song, delivered. Ready to release.
- Credit: Mixed By Roak.
- A spot on a playlist I actually promote. I run ads to Dark Alternative 2026 and it gets real listens every day. Once your song is out, it goes on there next to mine. I work in seasons of 30 mixes. When there are enough finished songs, they move to their own Mixed By Roak playlist and the ads follow them.
- The stream recordings and the clips. Use them however you want. It's your song.
- One revision pass. It happens on the next stream, top of the session, you tell me what's wrong, I fix it on air.
What kind of songs
Dark alternative, metalcore, hard rock, modern rock, industrial. Pop or electronic is fine if there's metal in it somewhere. Bad Romance is a rock song in lipstick. That counts. A beach song doesn't.
Released songs are fine too, as long as you have the multitracks. I don't care if it already came out. If you've got a song you always felt was mixed wrong, send that one.
Not everything that gets sent gets picked. I pick what I'm going to be good at and what belongs next to my songs. If it's not a fit I'll tell you, and I won't waste your time.
What you need to send
First, just the demo or the old finished mix so I can see if the song is something I could do a good job on. If you're picked I'll email/DM you, or respond however you got in touch with me, and at that point I'll need:
- The multitracks. Consolidated from bar one, same start point, 24-bit, 48k if you have it. Dry, no bus processing, unless the processing is the sound.
- Your notes on what you'd like the song to be vs. what it is now. If it's a released track, send the released song and tell me what you don't like about it.
- Tempo, key, and anything you already know you hate about the current mix.
- A signed release. It's short. It says you own the song and you're OK with it being mixed on a public stream and living in the VOD after.
Hardware or in the box. You choose.
I mix through analog outboard when the song wants it. Avalon, Neve, SSL and API strips, an API 2500 on the bus. If I print your mix through hardware it's done when it's done, the way records used to be. Hardware mixes get one revision pass and then it's committed. If you want something you can keep recalling, say so and I'll keep it in the box.
The line
Mixes happen in the order they come in. Right now I'm booking a few weeks out. Once you're in, you're in. I keep a running calendar of whose song is being mixed and when on my YouTube and Twitch schedules, so anyone can check and see when a specific artist's song is up.
If you don't want to wait, ask. There's a way to the front of the line.
